The best way of doing this is to use Instagram, Instagram is a powerful social tool and a powerful way to connect with like-minded people and businesses that you want to target.

Time to personal brand!
Is personal branding actually going to help you?
Yes. As we’ve mentioned many times before on our blog, the job market is super competitive. In order to stay ahead and get noticed by hiring managers we recommend that you start building up your profile on Instagram, use it as a platform to showcase what you do visually, to build up a rapport with the followers and viewers, showcase your expertise, and start developing your authority.
Instagram’s audience is maturing and more and more professionals are taking to the platform, more so after the controversy that TikTok has recently found itself in. With the introduction of Instagram Reels, hiring managers, marketers, social media professionals and businesses are more active on the platform and this presents an opportunity for you.
Your Showcase
As marketers, Instagram can work perfectly as a place to showcase your work and display examples of work. For example, graphic design, social media content and marketing projects, are the obvious ones, Instagram holds big potential for you.
Not only is Instagram a great place to showcase work but it is also a superb place to network with like-minded people, employees of businesses you like, and you can also use it to explore businesses and business culture.
Interact with the people you follow, comment, tag, like. If employees are commenting on photos, interact with their comments. Be sure your comments and points are on-topic and add value to the conversation, and be selective about when you choose to get involved. Build up your authority.
It’s important that you work out what you want your feed to say about you and your personality. Remember, hiring managers, and others working in various businesses will be looking, so ensure you put the right message out.
Push Your Personality
Think about the type of content you want to showcase. The majority of your content should display your ideas, your influence, and projects you are/have been working on. Don’t forget to sprinkle your personality on some of your posts too.
Remember that visitors will form an opinion almost instantaneously about you after landing on your Instagram profile page – make it work for you!
Make sure you make it clear that you are happy to accept messages and where possible add a link to your blog or portfolio on your bio!
